Yoon Seok-joon, Global CEO of Big Hit Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as Big Hit), will participate as a speaker at the world’s largest music industry festival ‘SXSW (South by Southwest) Online 2021’.

SXSW announced on its official website that Yoon Seok-joon, Global CEO of Big Hit, participated in SXSW Online 2021 as a Featured Speaker to give a speech on the theme of ‘Infinite Variations in Music’. In this speech, Global CEO Yoon Seok-joon introduced how Big Hit has read the trend of the times and prepared for the future at each decisive turnoff, shares the past, present, and tomorrow of Big Hit, while sharing the future of K-POP and further the global entertainment industry’s prospects and insights.

SXSW is the world’s largest music industry festival, launched in Austin, Texas, USA in 1987. SXSW runs a wide range of programs such as conferences, exhibitions, showcases, networking and more, covering not only music but also film, comedy, and media industries. Issues are also treated with great importance. Special speakers include former US Presidents Barack Obama and wife, Merlinda Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Merlinda Gates Foundation, and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt. This year, SXSW will be held as an online event for the first time since its launch from the 16th to the 20th of next month.
