In “Joseon Exorcist”, Jang Dong-yoon fights for his life.

SBS’ new Monday-Tuesday drama “Joseon Exorcist” (written by Park Gye-ok, directed by Shin Kyung-soo), which will premiere on March 22, unveiled a still cut of Jang Dong-yoon, “Chungnyeongdaegun” with soft charisma on the 18th. Expectations are high for Jang Dong-yoon’s performance, who predicted another “life-cat” change with his ever-changing acting transformation.

“Joseon Exorcist” depicts the evil spirits trying to devour Joseon by using human desires and the blood struggles of humans against them to protect the people. Lee Bang-won (Taejong), who was on patrol in the north, built an original worldview by adding “exorcism” to the imagination that he encountered a strange being trying to reign over humans. It is expected that the bloody war, which is being revived in Joseon land where the Western evil spirit, who was sealed thoroughly by King Taejong, wriggles with desire, will unfold breathlessly.

Jang Dong-yoon’s deep and firm eyes catch the eye in the released photo. The face of Chungnyeongdaegun (Jang Dong-yoon), who is staring somewhere, shows a feeling of uneasiness. Chongnyeongdaegun is in chaos facing Joseon and the people swallowed by evil spirits. His urgent move heightens the sense of crisis. I can feel the extraordinary determination from the firm expression of Chungnyeongdaegun, who picked up a knife to protect the precious people. It adds to the question of why Chungnyeongdaegun, who has only explored learning, entered the bloody war.

Chungnyeongdaegun faces a crisis in Joseon and faces the real reality, not the world in the book. After risking his life to save Joseon and its people in chaos, he will be reborn as a true monarch from a prince who did not know much about the world. Indeed, attention is focused on what made Chungnyeongdaegun change and the truth he faced.

Jang Dong-yoon, fascinated by the unique material of “Joseon Exorcist”, said, “It was interesting to add exorcism to the crystal.” “You can enjoy all the epic fun you can feel in historical dramas and the charm that only fantasy action has,” he said, expressing his affection for the work. Chungnyeongdaegun is also a person who pursues correctness in the ‘Joseon Exorcist’. “I think what’s right is a deep reason, and I look for the right answer,” he explained.

Jang Dong-yoon, who tried to portray the deep inside of Chungnyeongdaegun in detail, said, “He is very attractive, but I think there is a difficulty to express.” “He has to express his warm heart, right appearance, and a little bit of sadness. We are doing our best to express the parts that are not revealed in the script while discussing with the director.”

Meanwhile, “Joseon Exorcist” will premiere on March 22 at 10 p.m.
