Group BTS rose to the top of the most tweeted musicians in the United States last year.

Twitter recently analyzed the tweet data for 2020 and released the rankings of various categories. BTS took first place in ‘2020 Most Tweeted About Musicians in the US’, overtaking prominent artists.

Forbes, an American economic magazine, focused on BTS’ Twitter record in a recent report and said, “It’s impressive that BTS has overpowered many stars better known than them in the United States (on Twitter), but this Korean boy band (BTS) is on the rise. It’s not surprising to those who have watched it.” Rolling Stone, an American music magazine, also said, “Beyond Kanye West, Beyonce, and Drake, BTS topped the charts as the king of Twitter.”

In addition, BTS was ranked at the top in ‘The most mentioned K-pop artists in the world’ last year, and BTS’s Twitter account ranked first in the ‘World’s Most Mentioned Account’ category for 4 consecutive years.

‘#1 K-pop song most mentioned in the world’ was also ‘Dynamite’ by BTS. BTS posted a total of six songs, including ‘Dynamite’, in the top 10 of the chart.

Meanwhile, on the 19th, BTS released ‘BE (Essential Edition)’ with a heart to reward fans around the world on the 19th, and on the 24th (Korean time), the first Korean singer to appear in ‘MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS’.
