‘Minari’ Yoon Yeo-jung “I’m worried about disappointing small movies…”

Actress Yoon Yeo-jung talked about the great popularity around the film, ‘Minari’.

On the 26th, director Jeong Isaac, actors Steven Yeon, Han Ye-ri, and Yoon Ye-jung of the movie ‘Minari’ participated in the video reporter conference.

First of all, director Jeong Isaac said, “I’d like to greet you from California. It’s my personal film, but I’m curious about the reaction of Korean audiences. I thought about Korea a lot while making the film.”

Yoon Yeo-jung said, “I’m filming in Vancouver, Canada. It’s complicated to do it in English and Korean. I’m curious about how the audience will see it, and we made it like a family. I couldn’t think of or expect this interest. I liked it at first, but now I was worried about it. I become nervous. I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed.”

Stephen Yeon added, “I’m happy to show a movie in Korea. I can arouse a consensus between Korea and the United States, and I think I can show humanity. I’m a little nervous.”

Han Ye-ri said, “Because I am in Korea, I think I can give you feedback from the audience. I hope I have good grades as much as I love this movie. Please love me a lot.”

The movie ‘Minari’ tells the ordinary and special story of a Korean family who left for Arkansas in the United States to achieve the ‘American Dream’ in the early 80s. Starting from the award of the Jury Award and the Audience Award at the 36th Sundance Film Festival, she was nominated for the Golden Globe Foreign Language Film Award and the American Actors Guild Award (SAG), and is predicted to be a leading Oscar nomination with 74 awards and 157 nominations worldwide. It will be released on March 3rd.
