Kim Sang-hee, a former ‘KBS exclusive singer’, expressed her gratitude to her husband.
KBS 1TV ‘Morning Yard’, which aired on the morning of the 3rd, was a special feature of ’60 Years with KBS’, a commemorative project for the founding of the corporation, and Heo Cham, Lee Sang-byeok, Kim Sang-hee, and Song Hae appeared as guests.
On this day, Kim Sang-hee said, “60 years ago, I was selected as a KBS exclusive singer in 1961. At the time, I was a freshman at the university. In the morning, I went to college to attend classes and returned to the broadcasting station when time was free to practice singing and stamping for work. I was nervous that my parents would know I’m a singer. But I couldn’t stop singing.”
“After graduating from college, I made my debut as a singer. My father got to know me when the ‘bald head bachelor’ appeared. It wasn’t really an uproar. I won the 10th Singer Award at each broadcasting station and received a special award in Japan. Eventually my father won me. He took care of me.”
“At the time, I had a modifier called ‘1st generation female bachelor singer’. There was also a modifier called ‘1st generation female MC’. It is my husband who chose me as an MC. I don’t know what guts he recommended me at the time. He said he would resign when he objected. After that, I got married, but now my mother-in-law opposes it very much. But I am living well as if I was looking forward. I want to express my gratitude to my husband who believed in me and led me for a long time.”
