Kim Byung-chul, the last villain of “Sisyphus”, confronts with a cool warning, saying, “Now you have to get used to the darkness.”

In the last broadcast of JTBC’s 10th anniversary special program “Sisyphus: the Myth” (written by Lee Je-in, Jeon Chan-ho, director Jin Hyuk, production drama house studio, JTBC studio, hereinafter “Sisyphus”), Sigma (Kim Byung-chul) slowly revealed his black scheme on the surface. Watching genius engineer Han Tae-sul (Cho Seung-woo) for a long time, he was aiming for the “uploader,” the future time machine he was making. What is his ultimate goal to achieve through uploaders? This can be seen in Sigma’s character poster released today (11th).

Sigma smuggled into the country in 2001 from the future, and has been watching Taesul since then until now in 2020. In addition, it bought Chairman Kim Han-yong (Jeon Kook-hwan) to lead the investment and listing of Quantum & Time, laying the groundwork for Tae-sul to create an “uploader.” He also made a meticulous contract to transfer all related technologies to himself.

The question here is why Sigma is after Tae-sul and his uploader. Amid all kinds of speculation from viewers about this, at the end of the last broadcast, he saw people grieving over his death at Kim Han-yong’s funeral and said, “What’s going on about a dead person? What are you going to do when 50 million people die later?” Seeing him smile with an eerie smile, the black inside of him seems unusual.

In this regard, Sigma’s cool warning in the character poster, “You should get used to the darkness now,” raises the tension to its maximum. It is because he declared that his world would come, as a sign of darkness, and revealed his authoritarian and vicious nature without any doubt. The “darkness” he is drawing is drawing more attention than ever to what it means, how it will bring the darkness to the world, and the next step of Sigma, which will be active in earnest to achieve its purpose.

“The hidden story of the absolute evil sigma that everyone was curious about today (11th) will unfold and his true self will be unveiled,” the production team said, “Don’t miss the main broadcast of how the absolute evil sigma, which entered the country in 2001, came to power in the future.”

The eighth episode of “Sisyphus” will air on JTBC at 9 p.m. today (11th).
