The fighting game movie ‘Mortal Kombat’ will be released on April 8.

‘Mortal Kombat’ (Director Simon Macquarid) is an R-rated action blockbuster depicting a survival battle between Earth Realm’s chosen warriors, Outworld’s super-strong, and the strongest champions in the universe bet on the fate of the Earth. It is based on the fighting game of the 1990s, a super popular masterpiece that sold more than 90 million copies worldwide and is called a myth that shakes the history of the game.
Director Simon MacQuoid, who directed the production of James Wan, and game advertisements for ‘PlayStation 3’and’Xbox 360’, grabbed the megaphones respectively.
In particular, while faithful to the original, many new characters appeared and upgraded. As a former MMA champion, Cole Young, who wants to uncover the truth of the birthmark on his chest, becomes the center of the play with a new original character and leads the story.
