Musical actor Choi Min-cheol revealed that John Lucifer is similar to Joo Dan-tae in ‘Penthouse’.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, a press call for the musical ‘Blue Lane’ was held at Dream Art Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Tei, Yun Hyung-ryul, Yang Ji-won, Kim San-ho, Lim Kang-seong, and Lim Jeong-mo attended the site.

On this day, Choi Min-cheol, who played the role of John Lucifer, said, “If you look at the review, it is called the musical ‘Penthouse’.” I was happy to be compared to such an enormous drama.”

He added, “Compared to Dan-Tae Ju (played by Um Gi-jun), it seems that John Lucifer is similar to him by forcing his family and surrounding people to sacrifice like a devil and fulfilling his purpose. Choi Min-cheol also said, “Both are sociopathic. John Lucifer also sacrifices his family without feeling guilty. In the last line, he denies, “There is no heaven. There is no God.” He says that living and enjoying heaven is the only thing. “I think that heaven is only about living, winning, and fulfilling all desires, rather than expecting God and Heaven. The key to achieving it is money, a person who earns like a dog and uses it like a dog.”

‘Blue Lane’ is based on the novel ‘The Brothers Karamazov’ by Dostoevsky, the great Russian door. ‘Blue Lane’ deals with the unconventional subject of the murder of the father, and interestingly solves the boundary between good and evil. ‘Blue Lane’, which opened on the 16th, will be staged at Dream Art Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul until June 6.
