Mnet’s entertainment program “I Can See Your Voice” is a big twist music mystery show that determines the tone and skills among mystery singers who hid their jobs, age and singing skills, and it was first broadcast in 2015 in Korea and continues to season 8.
It is also very popular abroad. In particular, the U.S. version of “I Can See Your Voice”, which aired last year on the U.S. terrestrial channel FOX, aired at 9 p.m., prime time, topping the ratings of 18-49 years old at the time of the first broadcast.
FOX described the U.S. version of “I Can See Your Voice” as “the most successful program ever to debut on FOX in 2020.” In particular, the eighth episode, which aired on Thanksgiving Day, recorded about 6.07 million viewers in the U.S., and confirmed the production of Season 2.
In Germany, it was first broadcast on the RTL channel in August last year, attracting 2.14 million viewers, and was recorded as the most watched program by 14 to 49-year-olds on the RTL on the day of the year, and season 2 will be aired on the 31st due to its popularity. Since its first broadcast in 2016, it has been gaining popularity in Thailand, with more than 200 episodes.
With the confirmation of the production of the French, Belgian and Canadian versions of “I Can See Your Voice,” “I Can See Your Voice” has been introduced in a total of 18 countries, including the United States, Britain, the Netherlands, Russia and Spain, and has become a global representative music entertainment format.
The French and Belgian versions of “I Can See Your Voice,” produced by Warner Bros. International TV, will be organized into M6 and VTM, respectively, sometime this year. In France, it is broadcast on M6, France’s largest private broadcaster, and is the host of the show by famous French comedian and actor Issa Dumbia. Also, the Belgian version of ‘I Can See Your Voice’ will be broadcast on VTM, Belgium’s largest private broadcaster.
Canada will be broadcast this fall on Noovo channel in Quebec. “The show, based on comedy, entertainment and mystery, fits well with the channel’s personality and will not be able to take your eyes off the identity that is revealed at the end,” said Mélanie Bérer, director of Channel Noovo.
