New ID (CEO Park Joon-kyung), a digital platform business affiliate of media company NEW (Next Entertainment World, Chairman Kim Woo-taek), has signed a partnership with global OTT and smart TV solution provider ‘ZEASN’.
The NEW side announced on the 8th that it has launched five new digital broadcasting channels on ‘WhaleLive’, a free live streaming platform of ‘ZEASN’.
With this partnership, New ID has expanded its platform to global smart TVs such as TCL, Philips, Hier, and Sharp in North America, South America, and Europe, and ‘ZEASN’ is showing Korean entertainment contents for the first time to viewers of WhaleLive.
ZEASN provides industry-leading smart solutions to a variety of home devices such as smart TVs and set-top boxes, with 30 million monthly active users worldwide, and in over 190 countries and regions through its own cloud service (Whale Cloud Services). It provides digital entertainment solutions to more than 100 brands in the region.
ZEASN Chief Operating Officer (COO) Winson Chen said, “We are pleased to partner with New ID, one of the most notable Korean content providers.
