Actress Lee Ji-ah delivered a hand of warmth to low-income children suffering from COVID-19.
As the coronavirus is prolonged, Lee Ji-ah has provided IT devices to vulnerable groups who are experiencing educational gaps and digital inequality. Lee Ji-ah made this decision after hearing the news of children suffering from learning gaps due to poor living conditions when most of the classes were switched to online without face-to-face due to a pandemic situation.
In particular, Lee Ji-ah said that giving practical help is a priority, and she has been deeply concerned in deciding what to donate by providing extraordinary IT devices to expand children’s access to information and alleviate educational inequality. As such, Lee Ji-ah is spreading good influence by revealing her will despite direct and continuous sharing.
In response, Lee Je-hoon, chairman of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, said, “The educational gap according to the economic level after the corona has widened and non-face-to-face classes are becoming more common. We need continuous support for children from low-income families. Thank you, and we will use the sponsored goods to close the gap between children’s growth.”
On the other hand, Lee Ji-ah is about to shoot ‘Penthouse 3’after showing a solid and stable acting ability with the topical SBS ‘Penthouse 2’, which ended on the 2nd.
