B1A4 Shinwoo revealed his feelings about appearing in’Gwangju’.
On the afternoon of the 15th, a press call for the musical ‘Gwangju’ was held at the LG Art Center in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. Actors Min Woo-hyuk, Shin Woo (B1A4), Min Young-ki, Kim Jong-gu, Jang Eun-ah, Lee Bom Sori, Choi Ji-hye, Lee Jeong-yeol, and Park Si-won attended.
Shinwoo, who plays Park Han-soo, said, “There was no difficulty in choosing. It was a great honor to be able to do this,” said Shinwoo, who chose ‘Gwangju’ as his first work after he was discharged.
Shinwoo said, “I had a lot of worries about the role. I concluded that Park Han-soo is the main character, but I thought he could be a cowardly character. I tried to express it without overlooking that it took 40 years to repent and ask for forgiveness.” I was personally interested in the work of ‘Gwangju’. I asked for advice and advice from people who lived in that era.”
The musical ‘Gwangju’ was produced to commemorate the 41st anniversary of the May 18 Democratization Movement. Based on the actual story of the May 18 Democratization Movement, it contains the stories of citizens who fought fiercely for the protection of democracy in the Republic of Korea.

The musical ‘Gwangju’ will be held in Seoul at the LG Art Center until April 25, and then will continue in May at the Bitgoeul Citizen’s Cultural Center in Gwangju.
