Amid rumors of the group BTS joining the army together in 2022, the agency said, “We have nothing to say.”

On the 22nd, Big Hit Music told Daily Economic Star Today about the possibility of BTS members joining the military together, “We have nothing else to say about military service other than what the artist said. We ask for your understanding.”

On the same day, Yoo Seong-man, an analyst at Leading Investment & Securities, predicted in a Hive (former Big Hit Entertainment) analysis report released on the 21st that BTS (RM, Jin, Sugar, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) members will join the army in 2022.

Analysts Yoo Seong-man said in a report, “The oldest BTS member (real name Kim Seok-jin, born 1992) is approaching military enlistment time. BTS members are expected to join the military by mid-2022.” Through various pre-production works, their actual “military white flag” will be about a year old.

“As a young Korean man, I think military service is a matter of course, and I will respond whenever there is a call from the country,” said the eldest brother Jin, who will be the first to serve in the military at a press conference marking the release of “BE” last year. “I will respond whenever the time comes.”

On December 22 last year, the Ministry of National Defense announced a partial revision bill to the Military Service Act, which calls for adding outstanding pop culture and arts figures to the list of people who can postpone military conscription.
