Actor Ahn Sung-ki, 69, congratulated Youn Yuh-jung, 74, on winning the Oscar.
Ahn Sung-ki said in a video interview with the movie “In the name of son” (director Choi Jae-hoon) on the morning of the 6th, “I am proud and grateful for Youn Yuh-jung’s ‘Minari’ award.”

Youn Yuh-jung, who played the role of grandmother Soon-ja in the movie “Minari,” won the first supporting actress award for the Korean actress at the 93rd Academy Awards held in Los Angeles on the 26th of last month.

“In the Name of Son” is a film about Oh Chae-geun (Ahn Sung-ki), who was in Gwangju in May 1980, avenging those who have no remorse to keep his promise with his son. Ahn Sung-ki played the role of Oh Chae-geun, who decided to take revenge to keep his promise with his son. It will be released on the 12th.
