BTS’ continues to set new record, the longest chart of ‘Billboard 200’ in the U.S.

Group BTS is continuing its unrivaled move on the Billboard main album chart.

According to the latest chart released by the U.S. music media Billboard on the 11th (local time), BTS’s fourth full-length album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” ranked 119th on the “Billboard 200.” The album, which charted directly to the top of the chart on March 7, 2020, stayed on the chart for 63 consecutive weeks. With the album, BTS is showing off its powerful album power, breaking the record every week, the longest chart for a Korean singer on the “Billboard 200.”

“MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” was ranked No. 1 on the “World Albums” chart, No. 18 on the “Independent Albums”, No. 19 on the “Top Current Album Sales” and No. 19 on the “Taste Maker Albums” as well as “Billboard 200.”

BTS’s “BE” album, which was released worldwide in November last year, reached number 163 on the “Billboard 200” chart, number 3 on the “World Albums”, number 29 on the “Independent Albums” chart and number 29 on the “Top Current Album Sales” chart.

BTS’s digital single “Dynamite” is also making a long run on the Billboard charts. It ranked 11th on the “Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.) chart, which aggregates streaming and sales volumes of more than 200 countries/regions around the world, and ranked 19th on the “Billboard Global 200.”

Meanwhile, BTS will release its new digital single “Butter” on the 21st and unveil its first comeback stage at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on the 23rd.
