Actress Kang Mal-geum has confirmed her appearance in “Red End of Clothing Sleeves.”

MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Red Sleeve Cuff” (written by Jung Hae-ri, directed by Jung Ji-in) is based on Kang Mi-gang’s novel of the same name as the king’s mournful court romance record, where the country came before love and court lady who wanted to protect the life of her choice.

Kang Mal-geum plays the role of Hyebin Hong, who is careful in everything but changes passionately in the safety of his son, Lee San.
Later, he will become a “Hyegyeonggung Hong” and will work with his son Lee Joon-ho and Lee Se-young as Deokim, who helped him grow into a court lady by collecting his young virtue.

Kang Mal-geum swept the rookie award at various awards ceremonies by causing a stir in the 2020 film industry with the movie “Lucky Chan-Sil,” and is perfectly playing characters that travel between extremes in the recently ended drama “Mouse” and the currently airing drama “Daebak Real Estate.” Expectations are mounting for actor Kang Mal-geum’s first historical drama challenge, which gives him a sense of trust by assimilating into the character as if he were dressed in custom clothes.

Jung Hae-ri, who co-authored “The Prince-Mask Master” with director Jung Ji-in, who directed “Radiant Office” and “Hold Me Tight,” will be broadcast for the first time in the second half of 2021.
