Actor Park Yong-ki, 59, was booked for running over a pedestrian while driving under the influence of alcohol.

Songpa Police Station in Seoul said on the 31st that it booked actor Park Yong-ki without detention on charges of hitting a pedestrian while driving drunk (violation of the special law on drunk driving and handling traffic accidents under the Road Traffic Act).

Park Yong-ki is suspected of hitting a pedestrian crossing a crosswalk at 0:20 a.m. while turning right toward the southern end of Jamsil Bridge at Jamsil Station intersection in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
