Actor Jang Ki-yong revealed his reason for appearing in ‘Sweet and Sweet’.
On the morning of the 1st, a production report on Netflix’s movie “Sweet and Sour” (director Lee Gye-byeok) was held. Director Jang Ki-yong, Chae Soo-bin, Jung Soo-jung and Lee Gye-byeok attended the event, which was broadcast live online in the aftermath of the spread of Covid-19.
Jang Ki-yong said, “I had so much fun reading the scenario. The characters were all alive and I thought it would be fun on set. I sympathized a lot because it was a real romance.”
He said, “I tried to express Jang Hyuk naturally. Although it is Jang Hyuk, I told him to do it naturally like Jang Ki-yong. You will be able to see the real Jang Ki-yong.”
“Sweet and Sour” is a real romance drawn by three men and women, including sweet lovers Jang Hyuk and Da-eun, who are in love with the taste of sweet and sour love, and Bo-young with sour charm.
Jang Ki-yong plays Jang Hyuk, a “real boyfriend” who has become increasingly indifferent from a friendly sweet guy in the early stages of dating. Chae Soo-bin plays Da-eun, Jang Hyuk’s lover. Jung Soo-jung was cast as Bo-young, who met Jang Hyuk, who was assigned to a large company.
It is a new film directed by Lee Gye-byeok, who captivated the theater with the movie “Lucky” and “Cheer up, Mystery.”
‘Sweet and sour’ will be released around the world on Netflix on June 4.
