An apartment owned by actor Gong Hyeong-jin (52) has been auctioned off again.

According to Chosun Biz on the 2nd, the 10th division of the Seoul Central District Court made a decision to start an auction in February for the 158 m² exclusive apartment in Pyeongchang-dong, owned by Gong Hyeong-jin.

The creditor is a lending company, and this company applied for an auction because it did not receive payment of its debts on time from Gong Hyeong-jin. The sale date is currently being negotiated.

According to the registered copy, it is reported that a mortgage of 950 million won was set up by a loan company in January 2019, and a close mortgage of 213 million won was set by Signal Entertainment Group, Gong’s former agency. The National Health Insurance Corporation, the Tax Division 2 of the Jongno-gu Office, and the Seoul Central Waterworks Office are also seized.

The apartment was auctioned off in December 2014, but was withdrawn after Gong Hyeong-jin paid off part of the debt. However, it came up again in 2017 and was withdrawn after a month. In 2018, the decision to start the auction was made, but it was withdrawn again the following year, revealing Gong Hyeong-jin’s unfavorable financial situation.
