Former BTOB member Jung Il-hoon, sentenced to 2 years in prison for smoking marijuana

Former BTOB member Jung Il-hoon (27) was sentenced to two years in prison for habitual inhalation of marijuana.

The 22nd part of the Criminal Settlement of the Seoul Central District Court (Chief Judge Cheol-han Yang) held a trial on the 10th at 2:00 pm on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act by Jung Il-hoon.

From July 5, 2016 to January 9, 2019, Jung Il-hoon is accused of conspiring with 7 other defendants to remit 130 million won over 161 times and purchase 826 g of marijuana and inhalation. He entered the training center on May 28 last year and is serving as a social service worker. In July of the same year, he was sent to the prosecution on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

At the second trial held on the 20th of last month, the prosecution demanded a fine of 133.65 million won and four years in prison for Jung Il-hoon.
