Producer Shin Won-ho expressed his thoughts on the weekly programming.
On the afternoon of the 10th, a production presentation was held for tvN’s new Thursday drama “Hospital Playlist 2” (playwright Lee Woo-jung, director Shin Won-ho). Director Shin Won-ho, actors Cho Jung-seok, Yoo Yeon-seok, Jung Kyung-ho, Kim Dae-myung and Jeon Mi-do attended the event, which was broadcast live online in the aftermath of the spread of Covid-19.
Season 2 also meets viewers once a week, as in Season 1. As for the reason, director Shin Won-ho said, “If season 1 didn’t work out, I would have changed it. We also have a desire to make a lot and show you. The production environment has become difficult, and I and Lee Woo-jung decided to live like this. I also thought that a new model should be released. It’s still tight, but there’s still time left, so actors can practice for the band. I don’t think there’s anything to do twice a week. “I hope that other dramas will try different ways depending on each content and channel, instead of a fixed pattern.”
“Hospital Playlist 2” is a work of chemistry between people who live ordinary and special days in a hospital called a miniature of life where someone is born and someone ends their life, and friends of 20 years can tell just by looking at their eyes.
After finishing season 1 with the chemistry of producer Shin Won-ho, writer Lee Woo-jung and actors in the regrouped “Reply” series, “Hospital Playlist” heralded a return to a stronger and deeper story following last season. The first episode will air on Thursday, 17th at 9 p.m.
