Shin Chul, executive chairman of the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, said to look forward to director Na Hong-jin’s “The Medium.”
At 10:30 a.m. on the 15th, the 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) press conference was held at the Fantastic Cube in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province. The press conference was attended by Jung Ji-young, chairman of the organizing committee, Shin Chul, Kim Young-deok, senior programmer Nam Jong-seok, programmer Mo Hae-young, programmer Park Jin-hyung and programmer Kim Jong-min.
“There’s a basic definition of a movie we’ve brought for 100 years, and I think it’s time to change it to Covid-19. The movie has been a genre that has been restricted by poetry and space, but it seems that such restrictions have been removed. We have a conference on this change in place.”
“The Medium” produced by director Na Hong-jin was lucky to be introduced for the first time in the world. “I hope you look forward to it,” he said.
The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, which took its first step in 1997, is a non-competitive international film festival that introduced partial competition. The 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival will be held from July 8th to 18th, with both online and offline screening and audience events.
