‘Racket Boys’ Tang Jun-sang, middle school romance ‘hit’ that even adults are excited

‘Racket Boys’ Tang Jun-sang caused a heart attack with his fresh romance acting.

There are no provocative skinship scenes. There is no crisis of love that drives emotions to a climax. However, it is more exciting and heart-fluttering than any other adult melodrama. It is a fresh romance story of a 16-year-old boy named Yoon Hae-kang (Tang Jun-sang) in the SBS Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Racket Boys’ (written by Jeong Bo-hoon, directed by Jo Young-kwang).

In the episode of ‘Racket Boys’ broadcast on the 14th, Yoon Hae-kang’s cute romance began. Earlier, Yoon Hae-kang offered warm comfort to Han Se-yoon (Lee Jae-in), who went to an international competition, implying a fresh romance. That romance had finally begun. Yoon Hae-kang was clumsy with Han Se-yoon, but he carefully expressed his feelings.

On this day, Yoon Hae-kang asked Lee Yong-tae (Kim Kang-hoon) to prepare Han Se-yun’s own medicine using natural ingredients for Han Se-yoon, who always suffers from headaches and insomnia whenever she participated in international competitions. To Lee Yong-tae’s question of why he had to make medicine, Yoon Hae-kang answered, “I was concerned about Han Se-yoon’s headache.” It was a moment when Yoon Hae-kang’s cute heart, who was always grumpy when he was with people, but cared about Han Se-yoon, was revealed.

Thanks to the medications Yoon Hae-kang requested, Han Se-yoon perfectly overcomes headache and insomnia and wins the international competition. Afterwards, Yoon Hae-kang and Han Se-yoon went to walk alone in a green barley field to receive potatoes. When they first walked, their colanders contained similar amounts of potatoes. But as I walked and walked, I realized that there were more potatoes in Hae-kang’s colander. Yoon Hae-kang relieved Han Se-yoon’s potatoes.

After the 5th episode of ‘Racquet Boys’ aired, viewers are pouring in their reactions that they are excited about the romance between Hae-kang Yoon and Se-yoon Han. And at the center of it is actor Tang Jun-sang, who depicts the romance of a 16-year-old boy. On this day, Tang Jun-sang showed a fresh expression of Yoon Hae-kang, who pretends to be strong in front of his friends, but is shy when he is alone with the girl he likes. His eyes and expression were the same as a 16-year-old boy who began to feel the emotion of ‘I like’.

In ‘Racket Boys’, Tang Jun-sang is enhancing the immersion of the play by three-dimensionally capturing various aspects of the character, such as roughness, warmth, fighting spirit, innocence, and cuteness. This is a completely different look from the character and acting expressed in the Netflix original series ‘Move to Heaven’, which he previously starred in. Because he is Tang Jun-sang, who can show such a variety of acting and charm, he was able to take on the lead role one after another.

Now it’s a romance drama. It made the viewers flutter more than any other adult melodrama. Because of the 19-year-old actor Tang Jun-sang, who can do all of this, the cute romance of Yoon Hae-kang in ‘Racket Boys’ is more curious and awaits.

Meanwhile, ‘Racket Boys’ airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM.
