BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT. 3 boybands of HYBE Labels dominated the Japanese Oricon charts.

According to the latest weekly album rankings as of June 28, released by Oricon, BTS’ best album ‘BTS, THE BEST’ took first place, and Seventeen’s 8th mini album ‘Your Choice’ took second place.

TXT, a member of Big Hit Music, ranked first in the ‘Weekly Album Ranking’ and ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking’ with their 2nd regular album ‘Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ on the chart on June 21, followed by another HYBE label. Z artists are sweeping Japan and showing off their powerful power.

BTS won the ‘Weekly Album Ranking’, ‘Weekly Total Album Ranking’, and ‘Weekly Digital Album Ranking’ with ‘BTS, THE BEST’. In particular, ‘BTS, THE BEST’ sold 782,369 copies in the first week of release. Bulletproof Boy Scouts broke the record for the first week of highest sales of an Oricon overseas male artist album (‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 ~ THE JOURNEY ~’ 564,000 copies), which they had previously held.

In addition, BTS’ ‘Butter’ maintained the top spot for 5 consecutive weeks in the ‘Weekly Streaming Ranking’. They swept the album and single rankings, boasting the momentum of being a ’21st century pop icon’ in name and reality. Moreover, ‘Butter’ recorded 90,297,871 cumulative playbacks over 5 weeks based on Oricon standards, making it the third song to surpass 100 million plays following ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Boy With Luv (Feat. Seventeen’s progress is also outstanding. ‘Your Choice’, which recorded sales of 1.14 million copies within 4 days of release and placed SEVENTEEN in the ranks of ‘quadruple million sellers’, topped the Oricon daily album rankings on June 18th, 20th, and 21st, and ‘Weekly Album Ranking’ ‘ 2nd place, ‘Weekly combined album ranking’ 2nd place, ‘Weekly digital album ranking’ 3rd place. SEVENTEEN ranked first on the Line Music Daily Chart with the title song ‘Ready to love’, and lined up 1st to 3rd places including the b-side songs ‘Heaven’s Cloud’ and ‘Anyone’ on the AWA.
