Heavy metal band Skid Row’s former vocalist Johnny Solinger died on the 26th. I’m 55 years old.

“Johnny Solinger died,” the U.S. media USA Today reported on the 27th (local time). Johnny Solinger’s wife Paula Marchenaro Slinger said in an interview that she died yesterday when I was holding hands.

On the day of her husband’s death, Johnny Solinger’s wife wrote on her Facebook page, “I decided to switch to comfort care. It’s time to let him go in peace.” Death care is a treatment method that prioritizes patient comfort when medical treatment is no longer meaningless.

“I’m afraid this is the end. There is nothing else I can do. I wish I could have done more. “I’m so sorry, Johnny Solinger,” he added. Two hours later, his wife said, “Johnny is dead. Went peacefully. “I am grateful to everyone,” he said.

“We are sad about the news of our brother Johnny Solinger,” Skid Row said on its official Instagram. “We will be with his family, friends and fans.”

Earlier, on the 8th of last month, Johnny Solinger posted on SNS, “I was hospitalized last month. I was diagnosed with liver failure and the prognosis is not good.” He continued, “It’s difficult to get proper treatment because I’m not in the health insurance. I’m currently taking 7 drugs, and I have to get my ascites out every two days.”

Johnny Solinger was the main vocalist of Skid Row from 1999 to 2015. After leaving the band, he continued his solo career.

Formed in 1986, Skid Row led the heavy metal trend in the 80s and early 90s. He gained worldwide fame with the album of the same name, ‘Skid Row’, released in 1989.
