Jeon Ji-hyeon’s ‘Kingdom: Ashin of the North’ started in the north

Netflix has released a still report on “Kingdom: The Temple of Asin.”

“Kingdom: Ashin of the North” unveiled a sidewalk still full of the cold atmosphere in the north where everything began. “Kingdom: Ashin of the North” is a special episode of the “Kingdom” series, which tells the story of Saengsacho and Ashin, the beginning of a huge tragedy that covered Joseon.

The released still tells the story of Ashin (Jeon Ji-hyun, Kim Si-ah), who lives in the northern part of the Yalu River as a wildling living underneath a castle on the outskirts of Hamgyeongdo Island, and various characters surrounding them.

First of all, Ashin, who is standing alone in the sunset, and the young Asin, who discovered the raw sacho, stand out. Young Ashin is swept away by a whirlwind of fate when he accidentally finds the seeds of tragedy that hit Joseon in the dead group (the area where entry is prohibited among the four military facilities set up for bordering the outskirts of Sejong).

The forests, reeds, and plains, where you can feel the severity of the north, also show that different stories are unfolding. It also raises questions about the spirit of Joseon soldiers and outsiders who are threatening them.

What on earth happened in the north? The “Kingdom” series, which gave the world an unbearable thirst for the next story with a shocking ending, is preparing for a bigger and deeper story with “Kingdom: Ashin of the North.” Attention is drawn to the 92-minute special episode “Kingdom: Ashin of the North,” which returns with a large and vast background, an extended story and a new character.

‘Kingdom: Ashin of the North’ is scheduled to be released on Netflix on July 23.
